Hey Pasta!

Look at all the good sides throughout the years and the first two teams have at least 30 players to choose from.

The young 'uns know the score, that's why most of them stayed and played against ESL teams in "friendlies" in the latter part of last season.

It's up to each individual, prove yourself and there's a place for you.

As was said above healthy competition is good.

The days of having a 16 man squad only are gone.

F.A rules are still 16 players named in 'match day' squad!! but which will be the stronger team?? capital league is possibly a better standard than the ESL, i would prefer to play in the capital league myself?! what about the players!!

doesnt matter what the standard is like its still reserve football and players will be expecting first team football. are you telling me there will be a crowd at reserve games? i think not.

for capital league, you never know, different ball game to ESL reserve league (RIP) and essex herts border combination. still 1st team is what everyone is aiming for i suppose!

ok. i take my comments back and walk away with tail between my legs. however as a player i would want 1st team football always. i think u may have problems if players are brought over expecting 1st team footy and they get put in reserves but im sure they know the score. im getting very anxious now and cant wait for season to be underway!

any news of fixtures yet do u kno?

yeah but players don't manage football teams No 1...good job an' all....

fck me..when I was playing I used to throw a right strop if I wasn't in the team....never gave a [****!!****] if we won lost or drew if I wasn't in the team...I just wanted to play and thats the same with most players....aint knocking it as its understandable but any manager worth his salt knows that in todays competitive world you have to have a strong squad....

the boys that have signed will know the score......and with the capital league and cup games we'll need all the players we have and probably one or two more... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
