We need a name for our pub!!

However we really could do with a name for this establishment. If you have any great ideas, then just let us know below....

 

Of course if you agree with a name suggested, just say so.... the most popular name will win .... a bag of ready salted crisps Or a pint off me, when you next see me

The name we have learned something from in a BIG way is THE KING AND I

There's loads of pubs called The Kings Head or The Kings Arms already so why not be unique and call it The Kings Willy?

but whatever the name would be it will have a connotation towards one team or another, it just happens people keeping on popping up with Canvey....

 

Having a team manager called 'King' sort of helps in naming a virtual pub!

The Death Star - I think we lack presence, this might just be the title to enforce a bit more authority, but only as long as I am Darth...

 

Tandoori Nights - Every good night in a pub is followed by a hooky indian meal, why does it need to be a pub? Can't we drink some Cobra beer and eats some naans instead..

 

Le Stade de Lunaire - Translation of French 'Stadium of Light' was pushing Chesham to change it's name to this when we got new floodlights, only like it because it makes me laugh.. In other words I can't think of a rational reason, like most pub names.

the simplest and my favoured choice would be..

 

The Ball and Net - see ball being football, net being net in a goal and the 'internet'.
