feelings

The feelings we have for the club are not so suprising. we are supporters,we have tried to go, if not to all,but to the majority of home games in the last three years.I wish i had been able over the last seasons to go to all plus the away games.Work as not allowed this and I feel enviouse to a point of those that have. What as come as a suprise is the feelings people in the town and the greater area have for the club and the goodwill from those i have spoken to. A lot of people i pick up know i support the club and those who do'nt soon do.I have yet to have a negative response to the club. I have picked up several lads in there early/late teens wanting to know if the club is having a reserve side this season If so who to contact. i have said as far as i know not till next season but to get in touch with AFC Margate/Margate fc.If Vicky reads this could she post a number or contact name i can give them.The feelings i am getting of people are a kin to those we felt around the town when we won promotion to the Conference National. The Margate stickers given out by the local press at that time are still in evidence in car windows and even on the odd pub door.Could this be repeated. Come on the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE Upwards and Onwards.

Stickers a brilliant idea BB. Come on someone,(preferably the club), acually do this.

The supporters are doing their utmost to promote this club wherever and whenever they can so its got to be down to the club with this. We need them done NOW as the lead up to both the carnival(much promotion of the club,golden gate lottery & sponsorship) and of course the new season ahead. If we get things right before the season begins we may see quite a few more heads turning up to watch and to make a donation to the club via entrance money etc. Can we have this sorted by the club please a.s.a.p.

In the same way that we kept the pressure on the council in the same way we must give it all we've got to publicise our return home. Just like Blueblood,I too have noticed that the positive feedback from the local community has been fantastic and we must not let those people off the hook.

Great, by the way, to read in the local about sponsors "throwing" their money at the club. Great news, but there are still many many people and companies out there that need slight persuasion so lets mount this advertising campaigne and keep at it.Thanks Blueblood for the idea and for getting me at it here.
