Mark West

It is more than a hint. However, given Thame's problems at understanding simple things, like paying your VAT before servicing other debts, I'd rather hear it from a more reliable source than an irate anonymous supporter.

As far as I understood it from Roy the only players to have left are those who have been confirmed on the site (Murph 1&2 etc...).

Some players have spoken to other clubs but I understand we are hopeful of keeping everyone, but I guess it's really up to the players - but as of Thurs night James had not told Slough he was leaving and I know Hodgey even turned up for the training session - even though it was cancelled.

Well well well !! People of Slough have some wit !!

From what I have heard the "Star" player will be moving on, didnt leave the Mark West revolution last year for the lights of Slough.

Oh dear Edie you might just have slipped up!!!

Still maybe Windsor & Eton can give him "home" ground.

The common ground on this thread is that both clubs have been blatantally mismangaged off the field however against the odds the on field performances from both clubs have given both sets of supporters many a happy moment over the last coupls of seasons Cup Runs etc ! Credit to the players and the Coaching Staff is due !

I think that people connected to Thame United should look to re-build burnt bridges, rather than start fanning new flames. You could start by apologising to the local church group, who had a number of things removed from the clubhouse by the bailiffs when they were in.

Don't want to set off the alarm bells Chaps but there is a strong rumour going around that along with many other non league Teams, Slough Town are on the VAT mans hitlist so you too could be getting a visit ?!! Where next for Westy ?? ... Chalfont St Peter ??!

There is also a strong rumour going around that CRC employees are staring redundancy in the face, due to an abhorrent of [****!!****] stirring. Next time you try to be clever and wind people up, bear in mind that for seven seasons, the club has not sold any hot food, it has not sold any alcohol, and the sale of merchandise from the club shop is well within the thresholds set by HM Customs. So tell us all wise one, exactly why would we be due a visit?

Well your obviously more in the know than I am with regards your clubs fiscal situation Graham however the 'no smoke without fire' cliche does come to mind in this instance. I would also strongly advise you not to abuse your position of Forum Moderator. Jog on !

Luckily I am not the moderator so I can say

" [****!!****] off you [****!!****] [****!!****] faced [****!!****] stirring [****!!****] whose breathe smells of piss "

That feels better

Calm down everyone...

I personally wish Thame good luck and hope your problems get sorted out, just like our problems..as for Mark West moving..really think this is a choice of the person involved..Mark West has been involved with Slough before, and gave good service to the rebels..

We are sorry for what has happened to your club, but you don't have the added worry of not having a ground to call our own and all the problems with our council now and in the past..

so you see we all have our own problems so lets not try to score cheap points on each other..

cheers chris s <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I totally agree Chris, I think its really sad that every time a player or manager moves the clubs involved start slagging each other off. In a free world surely its up to the individuals who they work for. Slough and Thame have had good relations recntly via James and Matty's loan spell, so grow up the lot of you. I wish Thame all the best as I hate to see any club in trouble (well most of them).
