i deliver in the city and west end, and went past liverpool street station, 4 mins after the bomb went off.

i also had a drop for the BMA block d, tavistock square, and missed both by a matter of minutes.

i think my mum, had a word with the big man upstairs.

but my thoughts are with, all those that lost there lives.

just for a sake of a couple of mins, i could have been one of the unlucky ones.

hitler couldn't do it.

the ira couldn't do it.

osama will not do it.

londoners will fight back.

will shall not be defeated

That certainly was a very trying day, I hope all associated with these forums and our level of football are safe.

I work near Charing Cross and, like Bubs, consider myself very lucky. I was on my way down to the Piccadilly Line platform at King's Cross when the alarm went off evacuating the station - like numerous others, I then had no choice but to walk or bus it. Buses were too full so I walked - through Tavistock Square/Russell Square, would have been there not long before that bomb too.

How can human beings cause such misery deliberately? What a sad world we live in...I guess we should cling on to the hope shown by the resiliance of our fellow Londoners and the amazingly brave and heroic acts provided by our emergency services and others. I am in awe of some of those people....

It appears that an Enfield resident has fallen victim to this terrible atrocity. Jamie Gordon aged 30 . I'm sure all of us at E's and Town feel for his family at this awful time.
