I see on www.kentonline.co.uk CK states that 'he hopes to start with about 14 incl several trialists.

 

Not sure if this is start the season or start the friendlies.

 

Hope its the latter and even then, that seems about 6/7 light.

 

Would like to see a squad of minimally 17 by time of first friendly

[color:"blue"]I'd guess he was talking about friendlies -- last season our first friendly at Ramsgate we had to 'lend' a goalie (Pat Mullins) & defender (Wes Hammond) to make up the team (though there were a few subs .. all were trialists). Because we were so short of players we postponed our second friendly against Folkestone. So to start friendlies with 14 (including our own keeper) is a step closer than last year.
