lets hope its loyalty to the burnham cause....

well it could be due to guilt because they were loyal to their old clubs and realised that they couldn't live without 'forum ramblers afc'... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

 

it could be because they recognise that the other players we have signed were not good enough to win the league.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I thought I heard on the news that Weymouth are getting the Olympic Yachting or some water stuff, which I thought would have suited the City Fathers of Burnham far more than the sordid world of professional football.

it could be that they recognised the quality of the other players and realised they wouldn't get a game?? if i was a burnham fan i wouldnt be very happy to welcome them back

i cant believe ive only just seen this.

 

i spoke to jamie gray the day he changed his mind. he said to me he thought he had made a mistake. he was going to miss playing with the boys from last season where he was very popular. i can confirm, believe me or not, money was not his motivation. he was offered more to stay at burnham before he left but wanted to go and play for hornchurch. i think he was dissillusioned at the amount of players there and perhaps felt he would be safer at burnham where his talent was known and appreciated. maybe the wrong call from him or may be the right one. we eagerly await to find out.

 

with regards to paul shave i do not wish to comment on what i know. i will state it is not through money and not from the manager ringing HIM. he will struggle to get a game if u ask me.
