confetti cannon, can you help

ooh!!bodyform

Recommended Posts

hi guys i have been on a mission lately to try and find a confetti cannon for the carnival and have been in touch with Mr Taylor at active signs with some of my findings but is there anyone who knows where we could get 1 from as the ones i have found are not colour specific and idealy we would want blue and white to be ejected from such cannon!

Any body who could help please contact me either by PM or e-mail at Margateblue74@aol.com

thanx

John

We need your help here! Can anyone direct us to a local firm that deals with such an item, for rent, for a day, or the weekend if necessary.
Thank you

Thank you for your reply but that has already been covered. All other avenues have been covered also. We are asking YOU to see if there is someone you might know who could help us locally. Logging on to the above helps but its localised firms we want to know about and there aren't any registered on there. Of course e.mails have been sent to some of those companies and am awaiting replies but to ask you lot may both save time and possibly save money. We are looking at as many outlets as possible to see if this can be sorted. Thank you.

Thanks Margateshot. I have already visited that site but thanks for pointing it out. Think this idea may end up to be a bit beyond us and maybe we will have to dilute the idea. However further suggestions concerning the above are still to be welcome. Thanks MS.

someone did point out that if we cut up loads of crepe paper in blue and white and blow them out with a leaf blower, dont think this will work but nice idea!!

what you have to remember guys is that we need to keep cost down and we cannot use 'PYROTECHNICS' only c02 propelled cannons. I'm still chasing things but any more ideas would be cool, so far i have found a company that do single shot co2 confetti cannons@ 14.99 a pop(pardon the pun) and they project 20 meters in the air and as the lady explained they are high impact and make a hell of a mess, but, they are NOT COLOUR SPECIFIC, i reckon that sort of thing is ideal but for a route the size of Margate carnival we would be looking at at least 10-20 of these! maybe going off every 200m,but again idealy we would need BLUE AND WHITE ones!!

and of course they need to be Local the company i have spoken to are in staple just outside deal, and have stressed that locally these items are very very hard to come by and some places cannot even get these any more

Better still why not try balloons im sure you can get a firm to make them with MFC on them home & away coulers and at a lot less cost the kids would love that then ask there dads to take them to watch Margate <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/chat.gif" alt="" />

Yes, that idea has been mulled over but I like your thinking about the names on them. We'll leave that up to you to organise then. I expect we can all chip in with the blowing up of the balloons.

Why not have the balloons with a written name tag/contact number . These could be released and a prize given to the child who's balloon travels the furthest/prize for the child/person who returns the winner. it would add interest and also keep the clubs name in the news.

ATTENTION!! Cannon all sorted. Loaned to us at a cut price by a local fireworks company and kindly being paid for by one of our longest serving supporters "Barry the Barber". I strongly suggest that if you want a great, not so dear hair cut you go and visit him in northdown road,A plug for his Barbers shop is the least we can do after his gesture.

Good on yer Barry! We are indebted to you.
