Nice work Mr Kirby, describing a player who was great for us as 'old and useless'.

 

With your expert knowledge you're bound to know which season in his career he scored over 20 goals in - first time ever he'd managed that many.

It was last season wasnt it? but wasnt it in a lower division with fisher athletic. Notice how i've used WAS great, and IS old and useless. He would have no part in a Margate promotion team, especially if Che, Rocky, Moses and Darren stay who are all more than capable of staying in the side all season (although we'd need a sub for darren!)

John - how many Fisher games did you see last season? My guess is none so you're talking out of your [****!!****] about Leon. A player who got 20 goals the equivalent of one step down from where we're going is hardly useless. He was still getting over his accident/mugging when he left us. I'd back him to score more goals than Che / Rocky / Moses in the Ryman Premier given a chance.

Well Stadhart scored 21, Rocky got 14, and Jjunju and Darren from the bench managed 11 all together, and that was in Conf south, so surely they'd score more in this division... You have to face facts with Leon, he's past it, thats why he moved down the leagues, and thats why he was so awful for Dagenham apart from when they played him vs us!!!! CK got rid at the right time.

 

We have all types of fans on here don't we, sorry if all are bored with my squable with this one, but he's so blatently wrong.

But he still is intitled to his opinion i somewhat agree that leon is a player from the past that done us a great service but tbh unless we cant retain che,rocky,moses,watson should really not be a consideration at this time.
