I'm over at Essex CC tonight, I'll try and hunt him down! I think it's a good move for the club and it will allow Wayne to have more freedom during match days to do his job. Also, having somebody with Radio experience I'm sure will mean we get a decent pre match build up.

After Tuesday night I reckon he's a good appointment. The Essex v Surrey 20/20 was hit by the rain and started nearly 2 hours later than schedule. However, he filled the time well and played a good selection of music. He's also got a good sense of humour and the irony in some his song selections was good!
