I understand that sherrie may be coming....any truth in that...?

Nah! You can't afford her fee!

And in any case who wants to listen to a boring speech about life at No 10 at half-time! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Roll on the REAL event of the month on Friday 22nd. Is my place(and one for Luperca) booked in your hospitality suite Unc?

If not one is not sure if one really wants to grace Bridge Avenue with ones presence on the evening.

Most probably an under 19 side although a few on West Ham online seem to suggest 6 first team players could be involved.

As an aside new Hammers signing Paul Konchesky played in a pre season friendly at Canvey for Charlton a couple of seasons ago.

we have an arrangement which is in writing whereas WH youth team use our stadium for their games and we get a preseason with their full reserves and a few 1st teamers (who presumably are not on preseason etc etc etc)....

we are certain that our premiership visitors will honour our agreement and do us proud with their team sheet....it is interesting to note that their own officials have put the fixture on their 'on line' site.

it doesn't however end there...Colin McBride has agreed to send a full Thurrock team to us for a friendly and so have the daggers (reserves)...

some good games coming up guys....

The Thurrock game should be good. They've made some good signings during the summer and should do well in Connie South.

I'll try and make the effort to get to the West Ham game if a few first teamers might be on show.

Not to be pesemstic....I don't mind us being thrashed by WH reserves, but Thurrock full team? We didn't beat them last year with a full team let alone our new team!

Although it'll be pretty funny watching a Conference South side have less fans than an Essex Senior side....
