Welling A No-Go

With the confirmation that Gertcha's not going to the Welling game now after all, I've decided to blow it out and apply for a ticket to Portsmouth instead.

 

Season ticket arrived Saturday morning, miraculously. Takes them eight weeks to send out a membership pack, but spend almost £800 with them, and they post out the good with recorded next day delivery!

But, to tweak slightly the words you used when you chose Jimbob over Pete's birthday... "I can see you guys anytime - but Pompey/Spurs is a one-off"!!

Don't start all that bithday crap again, you know full well I was going to somebody elses birthday that night and when I saw Jimbob was before Pete's night had started, it was the 2nd birthday, not Jim that prevented me going (as gertcha managed to do both). I also spent all afternoon with Pete while you fcked off for a curry with a load of essex mongs!

 

So you'd rather go on your own to Portsmouth than out with a load of your mates, makes us feel really special.

But in all seriousness, I'd rather go to watch Portsmouth/Spurs anyway. Nothing to do with making my friends feel "special".

Why go watch the spurs match anyway? U can get home for the highlights of it. That way your watching two matchs in a way, City and Spurs. And be pissed for the whole day. How can that get better?

Oh the joy of non-league football. Mind you, I must admit id rather watch the saints than a lot of premiership football. Ok the atmoshpere is no way as good, but I find it a lot more enjoyable to watch. Anyway where abouts have you got your season ticket for?
