Long distance love affair..............?

Watching the goings on from afar over the past weeks / months has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. However far away I am the passion still burns strong, and I hope to be at the new hartsdown sometime in my summer hols. Thanks to all the people on this forum who keep me up to date with news - we as a club are lucky to have such an active forum. If it's quiet I wallow with nostalgia on the phenomenon that is Jeff Trice's history site.

Anyway, looks as if the pre season scramble is about to start - July is always speculation month and the time to watch friendlies in ridiculous temperatures. It is frankly amazing we still have a club to support, and that CK has stayed to manage it. I suspect that we will have an almost completely new team by the first game - I think Chris will go for players who he knows will perform at the level we now find ourselves, so a few will leave. Having seen a lot of Ryman prem in Essex it is a hard running, fitness based league - ideal for CK's style in fact.

Let's hope he still has the midas touch.

Here's hoping for a pre season tour of North Lincolnshire.............

i agree, we are lucky to have a active forum, and lots active fans, even the ramsgate fans come here in awe. when i think on it i recall from the conf years when navigating other team forums i would somtimes be lucky to find a post that was made in the last week!!! leigh forum is one i recall, and many from the conf south were empty..

Whats it got to do with you mate? Whos counting apart from you. Whats your problem anyway with the number of posts people make? Its not an important issue! This week I am lucky enough to be on my hols so have more time to myself and usually I work shifts and post when I can. Though no need to explain ANYTHING to you, nevertheless hope you will now back off. Theres no prizes for making more posts than others mate so please tell me what your beef is. Do you follow my career as a postee on here by any chance? Are you a cookie stalker? Maybe you have what the title of this thread says. "A long distance love affair". Unless you are female then sorry but you have no chance of seeing that come to fruition. You will have to find a boyfriend elswhere mate. Absolutely! I enjoy it tremendously. Answering a question put isnt being wound up matey. But yes I do enjoy a bit of winding up.Makes things more interesting dont you think? As I gave you some questions to answer and didnt get the replies I was asking for then I take it I wound you up to. Seems you and me alike are level in the winding up league.
