2004/05 Season Review on www.Margate-fc.com

Never mind, footballfan, your team has as much chance as any to climb the leagues, if they play well. But then, you get into the ground improvement problem, and that can be a heavy load to bear.

We had a dire season last year, and I hope you never have to go through anything similar.

But we all start the new season with high hopes, don't we? Who knows what this year will bring to both our clubs?

In actual fact, the Rams have always taken part in the FA Cup - remember our 3-1 win at SOuthwood in front of 1500?. Now they are in the Ryman league they switch from the Vase to the Trophy I think.

Excellent review, i must say. Reading it brought back some good memories - like Maidenhead away <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Well done! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Steve,

I think that you need to modify September comments and put the words "home to" between "at" and "Weymouth". I attended the away game that we drew 2-2, where we played exceptionally well, probably better than at Maidenhead.

Thanks Rich - words ommitted in error as you point out. No matter how many times you check there's always something .......

I'll correct tonight.

Excellent if painful review.

Brought back memories of half time at Walton and hersham listening behind the stand when CK was deservedly giving everyone a roasting, and saying that

'if you don't sort this out, some of you will be playing against this lot next season'.

And some of us will now be watching it aswell.

oouch.

Never mind, things can only get better as they say.
