Hard to think that just a short while ago we hit the post against Cardiff at 0-0. Now it's Cowes , East Preston or Chichester. How the mighty have fallen

Yes, John, I know we played Cardiff at Dover – I was there. I was making the point that you can have plenty of fun in the early rounds of the Cup with trips to obscure little places.

Margate Fan, being such a staunch supporter (and an example to us all) you must know where Bashley is, surely? It's in the New Forest. Remember the Southern League Cup semi in 98? Or the 2-1 league defeat in '99?

i'd rather play Cardiff in the second round then slip up a la walton and hersham. A decent run would definitely do us good this year wouldn't it?

 

maybe we could do a Calais and get all the way to the final... anyone know the odds of that?

Cookie, am I being dense, as these lists give us playing Bashley in both the FA Cup and the FA Trophy.

You are never dense June. I have been waiting for someone to notice my deliberate mistake. No-one has noticed before now. No, seriously a [****!!****]-up on my part. The draw for the F.A.CUP is shown in new topic entitled "Correction" F.A.CUP DRAW.

We of course have BASHLEY in the F.A. TROPHY and NOT the FA CUP.
