So now we have a Ramsgate fan and Billericay fan arguing amongst themselves on a Margate forum. Getting to be a national forum these days. Any other clubs fans wanna come and join us on here. Must be one of the most popular forums around so it seems.

Sorry Cookie, didn't mean to bring your board down with arguements, we're all one big happy family here in the Rymans, until match day! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Rob, if you have to come on here can you please respect our club and fans by doing away with your "saying" at the bottom of the page as it makes me feel ill everytime I see it. Just a polite request young man, please.

p.s. Are those words there to remind you of who you support? Do you forget sometimes? I can see that you have to convince yourself in that sentence. l.o.l.

Fanoftheblues, we really have no qualms about who comes on here so long as it is JUST friendly banter, and that posts are SENSIBLE,and not harmful to the club or its loyal fans who have had to endure many setbacks of late(sob sob). Of course I can only speak for myself, but as far as I am concerned I have no problem with you. Maybe someone else though. Know who I mean. Do you know who I am referring to, Rob. Its Just banter, Rob, just banter!

Give one each to the Ramsgate players then. HA HA

They will need something to make them work & play this year. And as for the rest! Maybe they would all be better off playing snooker this year rather than attempting to play football.

Just Banter Rob, Just Banter!

Out of the players that left us in the past. Id have sodje back any day. The best central defenderive ever seen at margate. Although dixon was good in his own right. Out of recent players as in last season, id have clarke back.

Footballfan asked me who i would have back into the team in a previous post. Id also have Elliot Martin back as I think he's one of the best wingers ive ever seen at Margate. He had great skill. I remember and sometimes watch on video of the fulham game. In the first half he ran past their right back putting the ball between the players legs and you could see him shout ' nuts ' as he ran past. A real character. I wonder if he still plays? Another margate great from years gone by.

Leon---it's not you.

Gone to Ilford apparently.

Pleases me as personally would prefer younger and with height and strength whatever the position.

Power and strength can often overcome alot of other shortcomings

From Nonleaguedaily.com

Leon Braithwaite, the vastly experienced former Dagenham & Redbridge striker, is set to spearhead Ilford's charge in their first Southern League Division One East season.

Braithwaite (pictured), 34, who supplied twenty-two goals to last season's successful title-winning campaign for Fisher Athletic, will join the Foxes, despite Ilford boss Allan Fenn claiming he has one of the lowest budgets with which to operate at his club's new standard.

"With Leon it's not about money. He is big pals with our vice-chairman Mel Attwell and has said he would like to play for us before his career is over. Now we are in the Southern League, this is the opportunity we've both been waiting for,'' said Fenn.

The capture of Braithwaite, a proven goalscorer at Conference level with Welling United and Margate and who also played for Exeter City when they were a Football League club, would be a real coup for Ilford.

Former Daggers boss Garry Hill signed him two seasons ago, but Braithwaite didn't have the best of times at Victoria Road and moved to Fisher after an injury-hit season.

The signing of Braithwaite will help outweigh the loss of the Foxes' twin spearhead of last season.

Looks like it wont be him then. Kinnears got us guessing.
