£3 mill plus grants is all you need! Oh and 15 acre's of land in Slough!

even if we had the money chances are we wouldnt be able to get the land!!!

apparently we can get grants for up to 70% of the cost of the ground. Also it's an easy sell for a developer because if you have those function rooms and a board that is willing to let them out for all sorts then investment shouldn't be a problem. Look at Billericay who are letting their clubhouse out as a live music venue on Sundays, and where can you see live bands in Slough apart from the Rising Sun? Again, it's all about selling the idea to a developer and then it's up to the board of the club to maximise it's revenue potential

You can have function rooms without a football field attached.
