Carnival sunday. August 7th

We want quite a few guys & gals to walk alongside the float on this day,giving out various items and leaflets to the public in order to promote and advertise our club comng back home.You wont get bored,it wont tire you and you will have music to accompany you. Should be a good day. Lets try and get those lost souls back and maybe even newer ones to come along and support our team.

Please,if you can,try and make a date for this day and join us on the road.

Would it be a good odea to do it in other towns to?

ie, Ramsgate , broadstairs , sandwich ect

I understand what you are saying but it has been discussed and as its a run up to the new season it was felt that we should confine this,as a one off,to the people of Margate as that is the town club we are talikng about and its the people of Margate that we firstly want to target. We dont wish to take away fans from other clubs and with the coverage we will get in the local papers anyway those people from the rest of Thanet will have seen our drive to promote the club.It would be great to accumalate people from further out but I believe as small clubs we should respect other clubs following and not try to STEAL those that wish to support elswhere.We want the many people of MARGATE to come to see THEIR club and team back home again in THEIR home town.
