On other postings there is the ambitious thought of predicting league posities at the end of April!

 

Who will be the first on a more immediate prediction--what will be the starting line up for this Saturday's friendly.

Wilko - if he is still with us then he should be nursed through friendlies.

 

Saulsbury - despite not turning out for Banbury last night there is some concern at reports he trained with them last week

 

Westy - let memories remain memories unless we have an injury crisis!

I'm sure I read on another forum (maybe Banbury's) that a Thame player might be joining us. Can't remember the name but I think he's a left winger. If it's the same one I saw when I watched one of Miller's games there on loan, he looked fairly decent.

His name is John Gardner. He played for Banbury again last night and looked a good prospect, but their forum is suggesting he has signed. Of course, Banbury announced to the world that they had got Ballard when in fact he seems to have come our way.

I'd expect us to have a few trailists on show and the trialists to change as the pre-season goes on. You always seem to get a couple of trialists who are good and a few who are average to say the least.

What I wanted to ask was why are all the pre-season freindlies being play away?

why are we playing friendlies away?

 

because Windsor's pitch which had four teams playing regularly on it plus all the Sunday league and youth cup final matches on it needs a rest to get it ready for this seaon.
