Can any body tell me?

 

Do the standard yellow painted cameras only clock traffic on the same side of the road and driving the same way as the speed camera lens is pointing.

 

This morning I saw a cab on the opposite side of the road travlling in the opposite direction and the flash went off?????

It can only get you if it gets front and back to clock your speed so the cabby is fine .

you have to be on the little white lines as well..

if yr on the other side of the road and speeding you will set em off if they register you, but no chance of a fine..

there are two types of camara one is 1 directional and the other does both ways

There is only one type of speeding camera and that is the F-Liberty cash cow type

Get police cars back on the road and get the reckless speeders plus the lane jumpers plus the tailgaters plus the 50mph in an overtaking lane merchants and lets really cut down on accidents

The speed camera is simply one of the tools that take us inevitably closer to 1984 (the new version being able to take close up pics of all inhabitants within the vehicle)

The biggest danger to liberty of course being the ID card

i like the ones that do you over say 3 miles.. i can see loads of people doing 20 mph on 60 mph road for the last 300 yards just to be ;'safe'
