Back five days from a business meeting and still no news...must be really deep in talks...so deep they must have forgotten the time and how crucial a quick decision is!!!

 

I'm beginning to despair and give up all hope.

i'm not even going to dignify this with a response as I've already written the same thing in another post not 24 hours ago, but for everyone else, repeat after me:

 

if there's nothing to tell, nothing will be told

when there's something to tell, all will be told

 

now exactly what part of this is impossible for some of our supporters to grasp?

Come on Liam, surely you must be worried? We are fast approaching the point where no news is very bad news.

 

Unless of course, someone knows something that the rest of us don't (which for once I hope is the case).In the meantime all we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope.

Nathan's got a point. Still the football club is not and never will be the most important thing in my life merely a two hour distraction, nothing more, nothing less.

We're all worried, but I'm not going to waste my time continually asking other fans on this forum (who are in the same situation) what the situation at the club is. What can we do about it? Try tracking down Martyn Deaner. He's the man to ask. Or you could phone the club, see if anyone knows. All I know is, when things get announced, this is the place to look.

look Reading what have you got against me? Since the season ended you've been on here regularly complaining about a lack of news and friendlies, but what exactly have YOU done to remedy that? Have you called Roy Merryweather, the club or attempted to contact Martyn Deaner? I'm guessing that's a no. And everytime, we tell you that WE HAVE NOTHING TO TELL YOU! So i'll ask you something instead.

Grim, I've got nothing against you.

 

The only thing that you could improve on is the aggressiveness in most of your replies to people. You sound like mr angry all the time.

 

If you don't like somebody's question and you feel an angry response coming on, bite your lip and just don't answer.

 

Unfortunately, I think a reply you gave some time ago was that you don't care what people think.

no what really gets me is that every few days we get the "Is there any news?" question and every time we say "no, when something is made available to us, we will tell you" and yet, the next day someone will ask the exact same thing. That is what p*sses me off and you unfortunately are the prime offender. Yes I may be too agressive in my replies, but people don't have to read them. All it would take is for people to read other threads and they'd realise this as I've said "no there is nothing to say, when there is something to tell then we will" some many times in the last month.

 

And if I didn't care about the club, I wouldn't have done the sponsored walk know would I?

Grim, yourself and the other walkers have to be admired for the great achievement they did.

 

You say you care for the club and in another statement you say it's just a two hour distraction on a Saturday.

 

I think the answer is you do care for the club and the distraction comment was just a throw away statement made without much thought.
