Pre-Season Friendlies

We appear to be a bit short on the pre season fixture list so far, where are the glamour fixtures? where are the seaside trips? Clacton was a great day out last year.

So as Southport pointed out July 30th is clear so lets have a decent away day......on the coast!

When we went daddy said we'd go to the town and i thought "GREAT, shopping!" then we were going back the way we came, there was no town!

The indian restaurant is very good but expensive.

 

I saw a youngster do great card tricks at the texas place.

 

The contented sole is in the Egon Ronay guide I understand.

 

The star is a terrific pub.

 

And I keep my boat at Burnham a friendly there would do me fine.

 

Mind you it is true that the shops do close for lunch and are not open late Saturdays and never on Sundays.
