Leave Gazza alone, he is a legend on these forums, you only need to go on the fansfocus forums and see what a gentleman he is.

love Jenny.

To be honest, I think Gazz was just doing what everyone else does on that message board, but he doesn't yet have the skills to match you IW. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

So George doesn’t believe he can win the league, I find that very strange.

I’m glad we have a Manager with ambition and self belief.

Not sure your assessment is entirely accurate. Young Justin is, of course, understandably confident, having finished one off top last time around.

George, I feel, believes we could be there or thereabouts, but I doubt if he would be brave (or stupid) enough to guarantee success before the season has started. Too many variables (suspensions, injuries, luck, etc.). If I’m honest, I think we at Braintree are still a year or two away from being ready as both a club and business for Conference South football, but if it were to come our way, of course we’d give it a go.

Last season the target for us humble carrot crunching folk was top-half and we over-achieved with a play-off spot. This season I think our target will be another crack at the play-offs, but the title may yet be beyond us.

Anyway, enough of all that. Good luck to everyone at New Lodge with their championship-winning season.
