Last week KP quite catergoricaly stated all outstanding football related debts had been paid. Now in todays Gazette he apparentley is saying an agreement is in place for funds to be released for unpaid player and staff wages. Are these not football related debts?? More unclear misleading statements.I also think it is criminal at this present time of imminent drought measures being intoduced by the water companies that thousands of gallons of water is being wasted on the "pitch",and it is being wasted because the turf looks poor quality and will not settle in this hot spell. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />It was a crackpot time of the year to try and lay a new playing surface especially when on the law of averages we were due a long hot spell. I really feel for Ray Baker, if left alone to organise the required quality and timing of the pitch laying earlier we would not now be in this position. But this is what we will now get now that KP is back on board what he says goes.I know I will get slated for what I have said and apologise if I upset or offend any one, but this is my view.

I have not seen the article as I live in London but I should think, as has happened before, the gazette are quoting old news. I was not at the meeting either, but I think that comments from the club stated that agreements had been made and funds released and some debters paid and the payments would be completed by the end of the month. as for the pitch you cannot fully predict the weather and Margate are only one of a number of teams relaying pitches through the summer. Charlton have just stripped theirs and are re-seeding!! Anyway, what was the alternative, play on that ploughed field which was there. Get a life and read all the archive material before you make comments. If KP was lying why have we come out of the embargo!!

The Brittania stadium had also been shawn of its turf. unless you are one of the top 1/2 premier clubs who can afford to relay at will through out the season, when are the rest supposed to do it.Fortunatly in most circumstances with the exception of parts of east anglia(classed as semi arrid desert) we live in a dry warm area. As for paying of the players ,did'nt KP say it was in hand and that the outstanding ones would be settled shortly.

Ah, but you are forgetting, Benjamin, that anonymous thinks that KP is so all-powerful and malevolent that he controls the weather, and will plunder the earth's natural resources to achieve his evil ends.

There may be a huge conspiracy going on, I think we should be told!
