Looking at your counters gertcha's independence day starts a hour before Zeals, does this make him a better American?

Which one of you has put the dense into independence <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

I'm actually surprised you're celebrating this as it was it's independence from us they celebrate, thought you'd love it to still be part of the empire!

1. There is no "dense" in "independence"!

2. America has four different time zones, so Gertcha's celebrating in New York, whilst I'm celebrating in New Orleans!

3. As a Brit, I'm proud to consider our country the 51st state of America!

The more I think about it the more I'm really looking forward to it.

 

At first I was a bit apprehensive going on my todd, but now I've lined myself up a nice bird to be my partner at the event, and I've sorted out my clobber I can't wait.

 

The thought of standing in some hot sweaty dive bar in Camden or being at a very prestigious event surrounded by lots of our American cousins - no contest. God Bless America.

Who's the bird?
Can't be Abigale as it's her birthday that day and you were equally annoyed about having to go to the ball and miss that as well?
There was another social thing that came in on that day while we were in Manchester which you said you'd also prefere to go to but I've forgotton.
