Technical Question

Recommended Posts

I have this computer at home which I'm using now, but I also have another hard drive in the corner switched off and doing nothing.

Thing is, I have a few files on there I'd like to copy over to this PC.

Can I connect the two hard drives with a USB cable and access the other hard drive through this PC or is that not possible??

Powering it's not a problem as it's got a plug etc.

If I can't connect both hard drives by USB it's not a problem - I'll just connect the monitor to the old one and copy them onto disc myself.

Just thought I may be able to connect the two tower-things and run my PC off both hard drives somehow.

Cheers.

The only option may be to take it to a specialist shop and see if they can download the files to CD or a USB flash drive or something.

Don't think he'll be doing that, several high profile people (Glitter/ King) have been caught out doing that <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
