Michael Kightly on his way to park lane?

speaking to a former southend youth player the other day (joe illet) and he informs me that michael kightly has been offered deals by three clubs, namely

what do you think, would he have anything to add to the gulls?

He`s young and lives local (Basildon?) so it`s no suprise that he`s been linked. I would be suprised if he has been offered a contract already, maybe he`s been invited down for a trial.

Whilst on player speculation - Craig Mcallister has been released by Stevenage.

 

Extremely good striker in the ryman with Basingstoke, but doesn't seem to have impressed at a higher level with Stevenage last season.

 

Hyperthetical thoughts anyone?

im not to sure jeff would offer him a contract without actually seeing him play properly for us. I think it would be worth getting him down for trial just to see how he does.

 

As for craig mcallister, always banged goals in for fun at ryman level, Guaranteed to be in the top 5 goal scorers at the end of the season but as you said A Non E Mouse, never really continued that into the conference. Another one that could be worth a look at pre season.

I read he`s training with Grays but i don`t know for sure.

kights is at grays at the moment but is possibly off to Barnet, so i am told!
