Have proposed Friday 22 July for the ESL Drink Up and BBQ. Commencing late afternoon and to be joined by all from work or thereabouts in time. The Sub Committee of Greenkeepers, Strimers, Mowers, Howers and Tractor Drivers (With Blue Ribbons And Clusters) have decided that the event shall take place regardless and all ESL members shall be welcome. The affair shall be of a non formal nature which means the female guests shall arrive in very short skirts with their bristols on display (if not in skimpy bikinis) and Male members shall wear shorts and allow their beer bellies to be on public display (In Bridgeys case this is a step to far and he shall wear a tee shirt) Hankerchiefs may be worn on heads. No smelly trainers. Comrade Jonno shall be in charge of the BBQ and the Urchinettes shall attend to the bar proceedings in high heels and pleated ra ra skirts. Players from other clubs should bring blank contracts with them in the event of Jo Lo getting pissed and signing up a third team and a good evenings entertainment shall be had by all. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

P.S. And officials from all other clubs attending should also bring blank contracts with them in order to get the Hx players attending as p*ss*d as Ken Livingstone's favourite pets and sign them up while their brains are alcoholically disabled.

I'll leave the follow up to that suggestion to you Unc.I'm sure that you can find something appropriate to say.
