On browsing the AFC Hornchurch forum, a thread reads that they are entered in the F.A Vase & F.A Cup.

Is this so? as I remember when the Town was in their first season some stipulation about being established for 12 months, or something along those lines.

Hence we were entered in the...... what was it?

"Cherry Red Books Feeder Leagues Trophy"

There is a difference between a club and a membership of the FA. We were completely new on the scene and were not taking over Enfield FC's membership of the FA (because they needed it!) whereas AFC Hornchurch have, as far as I can work out, had Hornchurch FC's membership of the FA transferred to them.

 

So Hornchurch won't have delightful trips to places like White Notley where we sat in that pub missing trains back to London until they ran out of Old Bob.
