Kent On-line. A Gills debate.

Taken from the above news site, the folllowing posted by a Gills fan

"I am sorry to see that big Mama is leaving the club and maybe others to follow but let us look at the facts.

The slide of Gillingham F C started some time ago and can be documented as follows. The sacking of Richard Hill, the only decent coach we had at the time (mistake by the Chairman). The transfer of players like Paul Shaw, Simon Osborne, ect. (mistake by the Chairman). The sacking of Wayne Jones.(mistake by the Chairman). Keeping Andy Hesenthayler on as manager for too long (mistake by the Chairman). Failing to keep hold of John Gorman and Stan Ternant (mistake by the Chairman). Spending to much money on the corperate side of things, Blues Rock Cafe, Grand Hall, Conferance Facilities ect, and not on the team (Mistake by the Chairman). And many more mistakes all made by the Chairman of our Football Club. If I made that many costly mistakes in my job I would not last very long. No other Football clubs fans would put up with this sort of thing for very long. So come on all you Gills fans, open your eyes to what is happerning. The best transfer news for all of us would be the Chairman going somewhere else. Do the decent thing Mr Scally and let someone else have a go."

It's what we have been saying for years. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
