The new season

Morning all,

 

What are everyone's thoughts on this season? I think it's going to be a very competitive league with a lot of close games.

reckon it will be a good season; how's your new ground coming along?

The site has been cleared and they've spent an age moving a big gas main and a few other bits and pieces. Nothing to actually look at yet but like eveything it takes time.

 

Completion date is around March 06 but I reckon it'll be nearer summer 06.

I dunno. A Dartford-supporting mate reckons all of the promoted clubs will end up in the top half, but a lot of it boils down to which clubs can keep their good players and how many changes there are to teams as the season goes on. I know it isn't quite the same as at Step 5, where you sometimes see an entire team change because the manager's left and the players are only really there for him, but there is still going to be a fair chunk of that. Hopefully we will get off to a good start and remember that we have beaten clubs from a higher level than Step 4 in the past and should be able to do it again.

Anyway, now is the time for blind optimism!
