1no offence or nothing but i thought this was a football forum!

Harry was stung by nettles whilst working for our football club at our club's football ground.

This is a forum for fans of the club to congregate & argue amongst theirselves.

Will be sizzling on the BBQ very soon..... along with burgers, minted lamb, chicken & other fine outdoor culinery delights.

So far I have washed the dishes, done the washing, hoovered, mowed the lawns..... been easier to have been at work!

Mrs Fleet needs to hurry up home later.

You are lucky. Mrs Chatham Gary is in bed with food poisoning.Lots of running up and down stairs. Done the girls packed lunches, the school run, trip to the doctor, trip to the chemist, done lots of washing, a load of ironing, loads of e-mails, trip to the bank, and played on the forums. all before 12:30!!

Right, I got up at 10:00 at night, half an hour before I went to bed, sucked on a damp sponge for breakfast, went to work at t' mill for 27 hours a day and paid t' mill owner for priviledge of working there and when I got home my father cut me in two with breadknife and danced on my grave singing hallelujah!

Try telling that to the kids of today and they won't believe you.

Ah, but did you walk 42 miles to work, across 2 mountain ranges, in your bare feet, to work your 27 hour shift, and get paid 2 stale slices of bread and a lump of lard.
I do.

No mate, I was enjoying the sun this weekend, having some dodgy sossies off the barbie and quaffing a few glasses of chateau de chasselet when I thought...' I wish I had listened to what my old Dad said to me when I was a nipper'

I must agree that life of brian is funny, but for me its The Holy Grail. Just so many funny songs and elements. All time number 1. The Black Knight sketch is classic.

Black Knight:"Its a mere flesh wound"

King Arthur:"A flesh wound! I've cut your arm off"

Classic!!

Right thats it, just thinking about it, makes me want to dig out the DVD of it and watch again. I recommend The Holy Grail first then watch Life of Brian.

It might be worth adding here that the 'Four Yorkshiremen' sketch is actually not originally by Monty Python. Although featuring Graham Chapmaen in the original, there was also Marty Feldman and Tim Brooke-Taylor (later to be a Goody, and accredited to have written this sketch).

The same can be said of "The Office". This concept was not dreamed up by Ricky Gervais. I remember watching "Operation Good Guys" in the late 90's. This was the same formula, but much funnier. Although again they copied the formula themselves. But everyone though that "The Office" created this concept, and therefore everything that went before it is not remembered. The same goes for this sketch.
