Ouch ouch ouch Stinging nettles!

Anyone know anything that works well if you've been stung by stinging nettles? I've had a bath and put savlon on but nothing seems to get that tingling stinging sensation from out of my legs.

Dock leaves. Cheers Dave, chances are we may be doing the same thing tommorrow so I'll look out for these dock leaves.

 

I trust they have dock leaves written on the side of them?

Dock Leaves are generally found in the same area as Stinging Nettles - cause and cure, so to speak. Rub the Dock Leaf over the stung area, if it doesn't sting it must be a Dock Leaf.

Ahhh....opinion is divided on the subject...some say it is ( a football forum ), Harry says it isn't !! I kept expecting him to appear on Springwatch with Bill Oddie......

 

....so 49er GC....keep brushing up on all non football related matters, such as dock leaves, nettles etc.....you never know when you will need to drop it into conversation !!

When I first came in here it was primarily to talk about football, when I got here though I found it was not like that. I talk about non footy related matters but so do other people. I'm not responsible for ebery nonfooty thread in here, other people keep non footy threads going more than I do.

 

Anyway I was stung by the nettles while doing work on the 'football' ground so that isn't to bad.

My wife was in bed today, throwing up with gastic flu, which stopped mw coming down this morning.

Still I did manage a bit of a cricket match, it HAD to be on the hottest day of the year, AND the skipper made me bowl 15 overs at the hottest part of the day.

6 hours of bloody hard work for a draw!!!
