Just read that this is quite an event on Margate sands today.2pm-6pm

 

A few Brazilian exhibitionists around apparently(players that is but never know your luck).

 

Looks half interesting.

 

With benefit of hindsight and i don't know much about the event, but could have been an opportunity for Misa or indeed MFC to have a team in the event.

 

Maybe a few supporters in mfc shirts may turn up to watch

50,000 at the Air Show today where were all the Leaflets, an other opportunity missed.

Why didnt you knock some up then? Am waiting for a reply to have some done.Dont know if anyone ot there has this in hand.Would be nice to know. Besides,dont fret,when they ARE done the vast majority of thanet will get them. The majority at the air show will probably have come from out of the area and already have their own teams to support so maybe the opportunity wasn't that much missed in the end, though your point is of course still valid.

Think 50,000 is a bit of an exaggeration.

Hi June. Seems we are the only ones looking in tonight. Roll on the season when we can all have something to talk about eh?

Don't know about that, been watching the South American cup highlights on 4, and Argentinian footy that's on about 4 o'clock in the morning, and the Confederation Cup on 5. We video it and then settle down for footy in the evenings. Well, terrestrial TV is pretty pants in the summer and it goes some way to making up for the loss of true Margate footy. It is actually pretty interesting to see the different styles of play. Lots of posession football, and passing on the ground.

In between times I take a look at the forum to see what's what.

Tomorrow, of course I will be settling down to watch Norway beat the pants off Germany, and figuratively speaking, off you!
