Bill was not ready with his organisation of players, as I understand it. A fixture will be arranged for him at a time when he is ready.

Aldershot have cancelled theit friendly with barnet as they are playing someone else. Are barnet available?? Can't remember the date though. I'm a bit concerned about the quality of the teams we are playing in the friendlies. No higher league opposition again.

I'm starting to get withdrawal symptons through lack of football.

michaelmichael. Sorry it was not very clear. Aldershot were playing Barnet on the 31 July which Aldershot have cancelled. This would in theory leave Barnet Free that day after agreeing to play. Therefore it would be a good opportunity for Margate step in.

i think ck was thinking more of a higher profile game than barnet, no disrespect to them but maybe at least a game against maybe charlton first 11 would be good!!

It will be difficult if not impossible to arrange a game against anyone attractive in mid-season. I suppose we can wait until next summer, I'm sure Bill will still be with us!
