£48 weekly rent not paid for for 122 weeks apparently. Didnt we contribute to the rent? Didnt we PAY for the rent..and more? Seems someone there has not been playing ball. Hope they sort things out. Again the paying fans are dealt a blow! Above info taken from Ashford site and as yet not confirmed.

There is probably more to it than just the rent but as yet it is not known to us, or at least the Ashford fans. Somewhere I read, it states that the council would like the club to re-locate to a site near the Julie Rose stadium. If true, then this could be even better for the club as its nearer to the town by a long way. Good luck you Ashford fans and the club. You were there when we needed you. If ANY council even WANTS a football club let alone re-locate them then its a bonus .But then they dont have Thanet Council to contend with so maybe their chances of survival are enhanced.
