MR DA/Gertcha/Ash/loverboy missed out big time last night. The official Regency Hardcore photo was taken by the official Video Club photographer. That photo will be like the Bromley contingent picture of early Pistols fans, reprinted in all Video Club anthologies and general media articles about the Video Club.

In the near future DA will buy those books and magazines, carry them away then tell the other wino on the benchabout the Video Club, then show him the picture and say, "I went to a barbeque that night".

Meanwhile Sniffer, Ann*e M and Tommy Collins will be living the life of riley on their autobigraphical tales of Life With THe Video Club.

Just a thought.

Bloody Hell a band that Zeal hasn't heard of therefore they must he crap!

If only people hadn't listened when the Quarrymen played that Village Fete or that manc band supporting 18 Wheeler at King Tuts music history could of been so different.

As you get older you do get more mainstream which is why Zeal obviously shuns anything that isn't in the Top 20 these days!

That wasn't really the point I was making.

 

What I'm saying is, if the only reason that you think that Gertcha was better off going to this gig was because he'd have got his face in some picture, then that doesn't really say much for the standard of music on offer.

 

I really don't think a picture of Video Club is going to become some kind of seminal rock photograph in twenty years time!!
