Netiquette

Now I am no expert on this. In fact I only learnt about it a couple of months back.

 

From what I've gathered, it's considered good 'netiquette' that when you decide you don't want to post on a messageboard anymore, instead of just [****!!****] off and not posting, you have to post some cryptic message advising that you won't be making anymore posts, but you don't give a proper reason as to why this is.

 

Is this correct ?

absolutly.. maybe infer that some people, who have to remain unnamed, are responsible for the whole problem and that its all their fault..

though anyone who gets upset about a message board should really be locked up for their own good
