Is Jamie Gray the same one who we (Southend) had on our books for a while?

 

If so, he's a centre back who big things were thought of. For some reason, possibly due to a couple of injuries he had, his promise seemed to slide away and suddenly he'd been released. I believe he was on Chelsea's books as a kid, before taking up a youth deal with us. Not the quickest but he'd be a decent signing for you IMHO. I certainly thought he'd go on to do well but he's still very young (probably 18 or 19 now).

 

Hope he does well for you if it is him.

and yes he got man of match against portsmouth reserves and marked yakubu out of the game. bet yakubu isnt worried now!!!! he has just been signed for £7million and j has been snapped up on a free!!!

 

ask him about his 3 penalties in cup semi last season. never seen anything like it.
