I have heard a rumour regarding the forthcoming airshow. I understand that 'hoarding' will be erected; not to stop those who haven't paid from watching but to ensure those who would be annoyed by it do not see it! I am told this babble has come from Mr Ezekiel.

Now I don't claim to be logical but surely if anyone is going to get agitated by anything it's going to be the noise rather than the view. Furthermore how high is this hoarding going to have to be (500 feet?)

Please someone tell me this is a complete fabrication and TDC and it's leader have not sunk to new levels of buffoonary. If it is true god help MFC for the future!!!

Ive not heard anything like the sort. I was of the idea that people would enjoy the air show. Perhaps Im wrong. I remember when I was much younger enjoying the Manston airshows. In fact it was one of my favourite summer activities.

oh...I have my issues with the KM Extra and its reporting on events. Im going to Joint Transportation tonight. Ill see if I can find anything a little more concrete.

i am under the impression that the area will be blocked-off so that they may charge people to enter the area with their cars.

 

i heard the 'ticket' price is around £30 (per car) but don't quote me on that.

 

i too remember the air shows at manston. its about time the red arrows were performing here again!

Car tickets are indeed £30 according to the Air show's website but as individual tickets are £10 each and you can get 5 in a car, it's not a bad deal.
