Its was not long after this that Spurs donated a solid silver trophy to the Herts FA to be played for "by invitation" This trophy was "lost" along the way, found in 1994 at the back of a cupboard and resurected as the Herts Under 18 Challenge Cup.

 

City Youth were the first winners of this trophy in 1995 and we tried to insure it (without success as we were not the owners) when we had it valued at £3.5 - 4,000.

 

We have since won this on 3 more ocassions the last being with Jakes team in 2002-03 so it spent a year on a very high shelf in my house. Didn't dare ask what it was worth by then !!

 

I'll try to attatch a picture but it keeps saying that the jpeg format I use is not recognised ?? Any ideas chaps ??
