So far there's been suggestions of 'kid for a quid' schemes, bringing friends to games, offering tickets to schools and junior clubs etc. but none of these have either got off the ground or been successful in boosting our attendances at Stag Meadow.

 

In my opinion there's only one foolproof way of increasing attendances at Slough and that's to effectively do it ourselves. So, in keeping with Martn Deaner's request to bring an extra person to games, we'll be doing exactly that as of December next season. Get knitting girls, Kay is pregnant!!!!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Congratulations to you both.

I'm a bit concerned though that Ian's post suggests that only girls are allowed to knit. I think that this is disgracefully sexist, and that the lads should be allowed to take part as well.

 

A knitting circle might well encourage some departed fans like Nigel and Albert to return.
