Just as we thought we would not be going to Northwood next season, Wealdstone have moved there and no longer share with Edgware. Oh well I guess that means nobody will be late this year!

Not the best ground in the world but a hell of a lot better than Edgware. Wonder how a large crowd will fit in the bar as from what i remember it was bloody small!

Just from reading other forums it seems that there have been constant money problems with finishing off the stadium, it's not going to be finished anytime soon.

Don't think we should be laughing at them to be honest, they've been homeless now for 14 years and are still going. They have one of, if not the, best youth setups in non-league football and have enjoyed their fair share of success since being thrown out of the (what was then) Conference.

 

We may have to take a leaf out of their book if we want to be around in 14 years time. They have nothing but respect from me for the way they've rallied together not only to keep the club alive, but to get the setup they have.

And if we can't raise £25,000 in the next few weeks, we'll be looking for a cheaper ground to share. And now Northwood's been crossed off the list.

Gary, we weren't thrown out the Conference, we got relegated in '88. The ground will be sorted in time and we will improve our status.

 

It is important to keep surviving and have loyal backing, which Slough have. Your fan base can achieve your goal you just have to keep at it.
