I was thinking about this last night.

 

Now Colin has a new love interest (a girl from Wales I believe), I think it's only fair that as his good friends we welcome her to St.Albans with open arms.

 

Word reaches me that this could be the most clued up bird Thornsy has ever had, as she is one of us mate, a true Blue !

 

I'm thinking that we should take her down the Club, and treat her to the works. What do you reckon ?

I can't think of a finer way to welcome her to our cathedral city, actually. That's a really nice thought, Gertcha.

 

We'll send her a couple of PMs on the Carter site and invite her up for the weekend.

I have to say that being such a staunch supporter of the Labour party, I'm very, very surprised that Thornsy has become romantically affiliated to a supporter of his sworn enemy.

 

Remember just how much the Great Lady ruined his childhood.

Haha! Yes I do recall him complaining how badly she'd affected his life.

 

He was, of course, all of sixteen when her mighty reign came to a, in my opinion, far too premature end.

 

On another note, who would we like to see as the new leader? I'd love to see Boris Johnson become Prime Minister, but failing that, I'd like Costello to be the no.1 guy, with me as his Home Secretary.

Between you an me, the reason for Costello's prolonged absence is that he is being groomed for the Deputy PM job - to Boris.

 

Once we come to power, it won't be long before Boris steps aside.

 

I think the plan is for me to become Chancellor and the foreign secretary role is yours.

 

Hopefully there will be a place in the cabinet for Colin's missus to.

i went for the chancellor role a few years back with my agressive 'no tax at all, let the poor starve' policy but it didnt attract the northern vote..

i'd ike a quiet minor post now.. something like education

not a bad policy that. If they put a bit more effort into flogging the Big Issue to Thornsy and Co. then there is no reason why they should starve anyway.
