but a little birdie told me that Gazza owes the club £50 after their race!

it's becos I thrashed gazza in a race down the pitch, he reckoned i was too old and the squeak was the noise of the zimmer frame!!! ha

 

 

he has since declined my offer of a re-match

 

and poor OLD gazza not only lost in the race but lost his dignity that day, and his poor little arms still can't reach the bottom of his deep pockets

Rob now let me tell you what it is actually all about:

 

1. Southport is the one renowned for being last at the bar, at the league cup final he went back three times to make sure he had locked his car!! (getting the overall picture are you?) then when he reaches the clubhouse he stops and says hello to anyone passing to make sure the round is in & paid for before he gets there!

 

2. He was actually disqualified in the race down the pitch as he didnt cross the finish line!

 

3. Have never rejected a re-run and will race him anytime, anyplace, anywhere as long as he sorts out that squeaking!!!!

4. I have now collected the £30 i raised in my office & am waiting for others to stump up from behind the goal!!!!

 

5. Although OLDER than Southport I actually look about 10 years younger!! although i havnt seen him with his false teeth in so take a couple of years of for that, so look about 8 years younger!!!

Gazza - surprised you could see the finish line as you were in my dust trail, ALL the way down the pitch; PLUS your bottle rim glasses probably steamed up as you walked to the start line.

as for the re run, name the time place and price, old man, but the result will be the same, loser.

and as for the bar, i have put more money across the bar than Billy put balls!!
