A couple of snippetts.

 

There are a couple of quotes in the Herts Advertiser from Colin Lippiatt. Keen to scotch the rumours sweeping the highways and byways of Hertfordshire and, indeed the whole of Non League football, Lord Lippiatt is quoted as saying that he may not retire at the end of 2005/06.

 

There's an interview with new Saint Paul Hakim, who lives in Radlett apparently, who is looking forward to forging a strike partnership with Lee Clarke [and Tom Beech, presumably].

 

News of a former Saint and Sinner. Dean "only 7 suspensions last term" Hooper has joined Lewes. Also joining Lewes but as part of Steve King's management team, is Stuart "I knew he was the man for the job the moment he walked into the room" Cash. Presumably Stuart has now found the balance between his career and the demands of Non League football that limited his time at the helm at Clarence Park to just a week last November.

Lets just hope that Lippiat doesn't retire. I think he will though if we dont finish in the play offs. Just cant wait until these friendlies, lets hope Hakim and co are all up to quality.
