I was told you were better than starting pointless rumours but it appears we could both be wrong.

It was Indeed in the local paper i dont usually buy the enfield gazette as its too biased in towns favour but saw it on the back page so i got it. If town dont start the new season too well Jim will be under pressure with macca there. What would happen if Dave bryant sacked J C would the club split again and form another club so jim keeps his job ,THE MIND BOGGLES

For years the Gazette was almost all EFC and made The Penguin a life President I do recall. So now you have some competition you acuse the media of bias? Maybe we should make the Joker a Life President - Now theres a thought? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laughuncontrollable.gif" alt="" />

And WHY would he sack jim ? hasnt he done enough for the town ? MY mind boggles when you idiotic numbnut fools come on here and talk complete b==lo==s .
Isn't it strange when you townies gang up on other clubs its called banter. But when somebody puts a comment against you its an insult. Jim will never be sacked as hes part of the in crowd there. Even if you finish bottom he'll still have he's job. Dave Bryant wouldn't have the bottle to sack jim and you lot know it. Mrs Rids has more influence than him and you also know that as well !

That's a major difference between ETFC and most other clubs (not just EFC before anybody starts accusing me of having a dig at them). It doesn't matter how much we put into the club, we only get one vote each. It is truly mutual. That's one of the great things about it (and, before anybody asks, yes - I put in more than the minimum each year but I am really pleased to see that I don't have more of a vote than someone who doesn't).

Woops! Good spot for a one-eyed being, Cyclops! At least I now know why Syrup is called Syrup....

Not knowing much about their season, I'm not really surprised that EFC had a discipline problem, given a coule of the players that they signed, and that are familiar to Town supporters.

In th eevent that Mr Macdonald was to ask for a trial for Town, I trust that his own disciplinary record would be very carefully taken into consideration before any decision was made.

Two points:

i) Jim's big enough to know when it will be time to go
ii) If you have the bottle to take on the Council and Laz at the same time, its a bit of a nonsense to suggest that severing arrangements with a manager would be beyond anybody.

Let's return to the real matter in hand, EFC's Board's treatment of Macca. All to reminiscent of the previous chairman [with a helping of Leyton thrown in for good measure] for me.

I doubt whether too many will want the job.
