Do you know how much the FA put into the women's game? More than step five gets methinks. And for what. The game will never go anywhere in the UK because nobody in this country will ever watch it.

Me and thee have been down this road before old son. If you read what I say without jumping the gun, you will realise that I have no wish whatsoever to stop anybody playing the game.

But what I do object to however, is the money that the FA pump into a sport that is only ever going to stand still.

Please guys, please read carefully first, otherwise you will all be guilty of Zody disease, ie: feet first, brain later.

Remember: I DO NOT WANT OR ADVOCATE THAT WOMEN OR ANYONE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM PLAYING FOOTBALL.

Back to your original point about the BBC I dont wont my money wasted on golf, rugby or 1001 other programmes but I have no option.

Sweeping statements about what women should be doing instead of playing the game look like you ARE trying to stop it.

Far from womens football standing still it is the fastest growing participation sport in the country.

Can't agree CWC, women's football is far more positive programming then the majority of BBC's output. I don't buy the licence fee argument either- it works out at about 30p a day which is definitely good value for the service.
