I think that you sleep at night because you lack the savva to construct a decent sentence, there by
giving creedence to that old saying " ignorance is bliss".And it appears to me that you tend to "act hard" behind the internet screen, yet when I suggested a meet at a game once, you appeared to dissappear, ho! ho! ho!

I never offered to meet you at a game as I've got better things to do than to talk to bitter old fans who remember the good old days. the point I keep trying to get across which the minority of people on this board are too stupid to understand is that as soon as anything is done with regards friendlies, players coming and going, etc. it will be posted on here, and constantly begging for news and crying about the lack of updates is just a pointless waste of server space.

Look around the other forums, other fans aren't causing the same uproar about a lack of updates but because Slough had a few seasons in the conference some people think that we're still a big club and demanded to be treated as such. Well here's a news flash, we're not even a big club in our own division anymore. "But we take hundreds away from home!" I hear the cry, but does that mean anything apart from some pathetic bragging rights? When things happen they will happen, but as we're trying to operate on limited finances with one hand tied behind our backs it's still not good enough for some people

Although he does come across as overly aggressive i'm pretty sure he either is putting on a act or needs help.

I total agree with Andrew S and his sentiments.

 

I personally belive that there is a great deal going on and that the fans are being kept in the dark.

 

I also belive that the trust are only feed information when it suits the club so are in reality not an independant source of information.

 

I know the club and its officials would like greater censorship of this site and this has been discussed before so I do not need to elabourate.

 

What worries me most is that if and when there is a problem the fans will find out to late to help, and it may end up with the collapse of the club we all love.

 

Only 59 days till the rent needs paying but 300 days since the last communication from Martyn Deaner!

The Trust is entirely independent of the club and is not a source of information for the supporters about club matters.

 

This fans forum is linked to the Official Website but is just that a fans forum for a bit of banter.

 

The club has been on the brink of disaster since May 1998. I think we need to face facts. If Martyn Deaner were to announce that he was not funding the team for the coming season there is nothing we can do. It is impossible for us as supporters to financially back a club at this level. If he were to withdraw his support we would have to reform the club at a much lower level.

 

However, the fact that we have yet to announce more than two friendlies or that we have not signed anyone to replace the three players who have left is not evidence that Martyn Deaner is pulling the plug.

 

I am sure lots of work is going on behind the scenes and when it is available for public consumption it will be published.

SR- Yes this season we've clearly been working hard to get ready for next season but last season we were promised players and games we didn't get. (hmm No Dennis Greene no false promises! hmm) Would you rather be told infomation that is subject to change or rather wait for 100% confirmed news?

never been behind the goal then? Even the most polite of Slough fans have potty mouths and I doubt anyone on here can claim to be an angel. All I want is for people to stop being so retarded and to think before they post.

If the club has a statement to make it will be posted here - constantly demanding one makes you look stupid and won't change the situation if there's nothing to say
