To the anon who is posting verbal abuses. Is there the need for that. You started the joke about us having a building site and I turned the joke round. It was a laugh and joke by us both, well by me anyway. Was there the need to verbally abuse members on here. Spoils the fun and is not warranted. Those members that then reply, myself included at times should not respond. Its hard sometimes I know but we should put ourselves above those anons that do this. Can we keep it all in friendly and do away with the abuse. I have in the past been a culprit but am now trying not to react. Am sure that to cut out the verbals would be welcome.

It just shows how far the Club has gone down. When people are talking about a game with Ramsgate. 3 years ago there was a massive difference now their is only i league between the clubs and Ramsgate's average gate last year was only 70 less than Margate's.

We have a friendly every year with Ramsgate that is well attended but no one seems to be that bothered about, its just the players getting a run out and finding out who the new trialists are. I dont see how adding a cup to it will make it more competitive than just a PSF

But it can do no harm to keep friendly relationships between local clubs, seeing as we are so close geographically. Plus a cup can include sponsorship, good publicity locally, and raise the expectations, and possible attendance, of such a game, particularly as pre-season we are all thirsty for football, having endured the summer drought.

Shame that an interesting football post, one that raised some good arguments, is once again hi-jacked by the usual suspects so that they can have another go at us.
